A Wee Giveaway!

Hello There!
A couple of summers ago my husband & I went with our children to Uganda to work in an orphanage.

To raise some money for medical equipment & medicines in the run-up to our trip I started making bags (purses) and wallets. I made over 60 bags & got totally caught up in making them, my family & friends started to call me "The Bag Lady"!! I was preoccupied on finding new & exciting patterns... so I opened a wee store in Artfire, selling patterns that I had tried & tested & styles that people seemed to like....
Fast forward three years... I still have the Artfire store, but its a wee bit neglected & what I would really love is for you to help me refocus... and by way of thanks you could win this :
And this:

The fabric are four fat quarters from Lila Tueller's Santorini line... This has a lovely, vibrant tone.

The book is "Organizing Your Craft Space" by Jo Packham which is beautifully illustrated & very inspiring if you are surrounded by fabric, threads, freezer paper, notes... not to mention the sewing machine... or maybe I'm the only one who struggles to control the clutter!

So (and finally) here are the giveaway details:
To Enter:
1) Please go to my artfire store McGintyandMe & come back & leave me a comment on which designer you like, or perhaps you may be aware of another one that I should stock
2) Be a follower of my blog (just tell me how you follow - RSS, GFC etc)
Have Fun!
The giveaway will be open until Thursday 15th September 12MD GMT when I will do a post announcing the winner. If the winner has left me an email address I'll email them as well.
GOOD LUCK

  1. Hi Karen, I love that you have such a wide range of designers and pattern featured. I especially like that you have Make it Perfect! The lovely designer lives here in the North-West of Tasmania like me and her Shearwater Kaftan is named after the beautiful seaside area in which we have our family shack :)

  10. I love all the Melly & Me patterns. I am pondering the Oliver & S patterns seen everywhere at the moment, but am just a tad too scared of mucking up that much fabric!

  16. I know I'm being a bit impartial to the Aussie designers, but my vote goes for Melly & Me or Natalie Ross....it's so hard to choose between them....if it's for softies, then Melly & Me for sure, but if it's bags, then Natalie Ross, so whilst I didn't pick just one, I have given my reasoning! Hugs Naomi
